CPG is a client advisory service, providing insurance and risk protection solutions to commercial clients of all sizes and across all sectors.  Our goal is to provide our clients with ongoing advice in respect to managing and selecting insurance packages, and to guide them through the complex details of risk management.  We partner with our clients to take the guesswork out of policy handling/purchasing to ensure they are properly protected at the best rate.   

The Corporate Protection Group was founded in 2005 by Bruce Thorne.  Previously a brokerage owner himself, Bruce recognized the need to provide a higher level of service to his commercial clients.  It was then Bruce decided to leave the brokerage community and move into an advisory role within the insurance industry.  CPG was developed to focus its attention on providing insurance advice through a unique structured process and makes a variety of resources available to clients that are not attainable through the traditional brokerage structure.  

By becoming a liaison group to our clients, CPG is able to focus on individual business needs, assess potential risks, analyze coverage gaps and monitor ongoing insurance requirements due to business growth and opportunities.  All this means greater protection for our clients, increased growth potential and often a significant reduction in costs.
